Privacy Policy

The short version

This is the portfolio site of Christine Tan, a social media strategist based in Barcelona, Spain. If you accept cookies, it uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. It doesn’t run advertising pixels, and it doesn’t sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, but only with your consent. Until you click Accept on the cookie banner, Google Analytics doesn’t load and no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, it sets cookies in your browser to count visits and recognise returning visitors, and collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location (country and city), and your device, browser and screen size.

This information is used only to see which pages are useful and how people find the site. It isn’t used to identify you, and it isn’t combined with anything you submit through the enquiry form. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 doesn’t log or store IP addresses.

Google may process this data in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Google keeps the data for the retention period set in this site’s Analytics account. You can read more in Google’s privacy policy.

You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Choosing Decline stops Google Analytics and removes its cookies. Your choice is remembered for a year, then you’ll be asked again. The cookies are listed in the Cookie Policy.

The enquiry form

The enquiry form on the Work With Me page is provided by Tally. When you submit it, the details you enter (such as your name, role, work email, brand website, social handle and project information) are stored by Tally and sent to me so I can reply to your enquiry. They’re kept only as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the project. Tally’s handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.

Calls and Strategy Sessions are booked through Cal.com, which handles the details you enter when booking.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) may be logged automatically by the hosting provider and the content delivery networks used to load fonts and images. This is routine web-server behaviour and isn’t used by this site to identify you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask to see the personal information held about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it’s used. Email the address below and I’ll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Changes to this policy

If anything about how this site handles information changes, this page will be updated and the date above will change accordingly.
